Hi! I'm Wendy Griffin, the Holistic Nutrition & Wellness Practitioner and Astrologer at Beyond the Veil.

I am an intuitive, healer, and astrologist with a degree in Health & Kinesiology, deeply devoted to helping others understand themselves on every level—mind, body, and spirit. My work is rooted in the belief that true healing begins with awareness: of the stars, the self, and the subtle ways Source is always guiding us. My mission is to walk beside others as they rediscover their inner alignment—whether through astrology, healing, or holistic health—and to empower them with tools to live in harmony with their true nature. I'm endlessly inspired by the resilience of the human spirit and grateful to be a part of each person’s transformation.

In my Health & Nutrition sessions, I draw from integrative health principles, fitness, functional medicine, traditional naturopathy and astrology to help individuals get to the root of their physical health concerns and reclaim wellness in their everyday lives.

In my Blueprint Natal Chart readings, I help people uncover their soul’s blueprint—revealing how the cosmos has influenced their past, shaped their potential, and continues to support their journey.

My Story
My journey into health and wellness began in childhood — movement was my medicine before I ever knew the word. I was naturally drawn to athletics and competitive sports, where I thrived and felt most alive. That passion led me to pursue a degree in Kinesiology, and it was during a college Nutrition class that everything began to shift. We watched Super Size Me, and I had what I now recognize as my first awakening — a jolt of realization that radically changed how I viewed food, consumption, and personal responsibility.

For the next decade, I poured my heart into teaching elementary physical education, coaching high school athletics, and leading group fitness classes for adults. I was also raising four beautiful children — a full, busy life. During this time, I was known for offering wellness and nutrition support to colleagues and families in my community. Health was and is my language, my passion, my gift.

But beneath the surface, something deeper was stirring.

My husband Bear — who’s also been one of my greatest mentors — has always been deeply rooted in spirituality. Raised Cherokee, he began exploring metaphysics, sacred traditions, and spiritual philosophy from the time he was a child, including early out-of-body experiences while visiting kivas in New Mexico. His life was steeped in sacred teachings from many cultures, and while I admired his depth, I wasn’t quite ready to walk that path myself.

Though I had always loved the stars and felt drawn to the mysteries of the unseen, I didn’t prioritize my spiritual growth during this chapter. I was focused on family, fitness, and teaching — and truthfully, I didn’t yet understand how deeply spirit was woven into it all.

That all changed at the tail end of my Saturn return in 2016.

It started with a crystal. Just one. But that little stone cracked open the door and I dove headfirst into a world that felt ancient, familiar, and deeply alive. I became immersed in crystal healing, herbalism, shamanic practices, tarot, astrology, aura gazing, psychic development, and more. Meditation became a daily practice. Sungazing became a ritual. I traveled the Southwest with my family, foraging for flora, crystals, and fossils — reconnecting with the Earth and remembering parts of myself I hadn’t even known I’d forgotten.

Then came 2017. Everything accelerated.

On the heels of a massive spiritual awakening, I could no longer live out of alignment. Within just six weeks, Bear and I both left our day jobs, pulled our children from school to begin homeschooling, and launched our home-based metaphysical supply business, Artio Artisanals. It thrived from the very beginning, supported by Source and fueled by our trust in divine timing. That leap became my entry into what I now call “the great abyss of happiness.”

Since then, my relationship with wellness has evolved far beyond the physical. Movement became meditation. Food became ritual. Breath became prayer. Plants became teachers. And astrology — oh, astrology — became the map I never knew I needed.

I don’t believe the stars cause things to happen. I believe they reflect and inform how we move through life — giving us sacred insight into both our inner world and the cosmic currents around us. Astrology reminds me to live intentionally, to stay mindful, and to move with the flow rather than against it.

Today, I bring all of this to the work I do — blending kinesiology and intuitive nutrition with metaphysical wisdom, spiritual embodiment, and ritual healing. My deepest joy is helping others reconnect to their bodies, align with the cosmos, and remember the magic that lives within.
